Computer simulations of real experiments

The SimBio Approach to Biology Education

Students learn science by doing science. Unfortunately, inquiry-based wet labs investigating complex biological concepts are not always feasible. Using computer models of real systems, our simulated labs let students conduct sophisticated long-term experiments in a single class period. The experiments provide an engaging and efficient way to study important processes while being guided through data collection and analysis. Proven effective, our labs bring a sense of independent exploration and play to learning biology.
