Preview the lab now in 3 easy steps:

1. Download SimUText

Download and install the application approriate for your operating system:

2. Install the application

You should install the SimUText program using the standard procedure for your operating system. If you would like more detailed instructions on installing, view the instructions for Windows or Mac.

3. Launch and log in

When SimUText launches, use the following login information:
email: finches@sales.simbio.com
password: finches

The students really enjoyed working with EcoBeaker and this exercise provided valuable insights into competitive interactions that they did not grasp from lecture. I was pleased with how easy it was to adapt it to my class and how well the students were able to use it. I will be definitely using again when I teach the class in the future and will recommend it to colleagues.
