Environmental Science Models, Harvard/Smithsonian Museums
SimBio designed a series of 5 environmental science models to accompany a new online course for high school teachers put together by the Harvard-Smithsonian museums. SimBio’s simulations explored the global carbon cycle, global warming, population growth, food webs, and diseases, using simple models and interfaces designed to be accessible to secondary school teachers who need to brush up on their environmental science. The curriculum has now been released as a course available for continuing education credits across the U.S.
