For the past two-plus decades, SimBio has been a leading developer of innovative teaching and learning tools that engage college biology students worldwide in inquiry-driven learning. Founded and run by academically oriented biologists, we are motivated to grow our business by making a positive impact in STEM education. We’re particularly interested in understanding how students struggle with and ultimately grasp difficult biological concepts, and how interactive digital tools can help students learn. Our research results are published in peer-reviewed journals, but more importantly, we use what we learn to improve our teaching tools.
We are looking for an entrepreneurial-minded biologist/educator to participate in our NSF-funded research and to help promote our teaching tools to biology faculty across North America. This is a job for an enterprising person with strong research and exceptional communication skills who wants their work to have a broad impact, and who has the tenacity to make that broad impact a reality.
