TUTORIAL LAB – Lower Division

Overview

In this tutorial, students get to play with fire in their explorations of succession and disturbance. By manipulating parameters of a simulation model, they investigate how the frequency and spatial extent of forest fires affect community composition and species diversity in a deciduous forest.
